Although Max Kirsten – Hypnotherapy NLP products are considered safe and contribute to wellness they are NOT meant to replace medical or psychological treatment or consultation. Hypnotherapy should be used in conjunction with, and not as a replacement for any conventional medical treatment that you may be receiving. As Hypnotherapy can slow the heart beat down, we suggest that if you suffer with low blood pressure, you should check with your doctor or licensed medical practitioner before using Hypnotherapy or Self-Hypnosis.
What is brainwave entrainment? Brainwave frequency patterns can be used for accelerated learning, treating insomnia, relaxation, meditation, migraine relief, and for self-hypnosis. It is an electrical response by the brain, expressed as brainwaves, which mimics a rhythmic stimulus usually created by auditory or visual pulses.
Brainwave entrainment where hypnosis is concerned has for the most part been a product of Binaural Beat Technology - which ideally requires headphones for best results. This following of the binaural beat is referred to as the “frequency-following response (FFR).” And this is how specific brainwave frequencies are created.
Ask about Brainwave Entrainment and Binaural Beats Technology and work with your doctor, physician or specialist to choose the right treatments for you. The information, techniques and exercises provided within these products are for educational purposes only.
Pregnant women should check with their doctor or licensed medical practitioner for approval before using Hypnotherapy or Self-Hypnosis.
Never listen to hypnosis NLP recordings (with or without brainwave entrainment), or techniques and exercises contained within some of these products whilst driving or operating machinery, or if you are under the influence of alcohol or recreational or prescription drugs, or suffer from epilepsy, clinical depression or any other nervous or serious psychiatric condition. The information provided is not a substitute for proper medical advice. If in any doubt, please consult your doctor or licensed medical practitioner.
We also only recommend these recordings for those over 18 years of age. Children under the age of 18 are to be examined by a physician for epilepsy or illnesses that may contribute to seizures prior to the use of Max Kirsten – Hypnotherapy NLP – LifeChange products™ as they are (it seems) theoretically more susceptible to seizures.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Max Kirsten and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.
Also pregnant women from their first trimester and 2nd trimester should check with your doctor or licensed medical practitioner for approval before using Hypnotherapy or Self-Hypnosis, 3rd trimester still fine but still with with doctor or licensed medical practitioner approval. Hypnosis and hypnotherapy are considered as a safe and natural therapy – hence Hypnosis for birthing is often used as the modality of choice with many expectant mothers.
In addition, however we do not recommend any of the hypnotic recordings with Binaural-Beats or Brainwave Entrainment for pregnant women. We do consider them completely safe, however we suggest not to use if pregnant simply because there has not yet been enough medical research in this area to make an informed decision.
If in doubt please consult your doctor or healthcare specialist.
